I strongly advise anyone considering Agrim Dental Home to think twice. I went here for treatment for two people (cavity fillings, tooth polishing, and teeth whitening). For this, they charged me an outrageous INR 129,000 (approx. 900 USD) — more than double the standard prices at other reputable dental clinics in Nepal. When I asked to pay by card, they refused and demanded either cash or remittance transfer. To make matters worse, they did not provide an official invoice or receipt at the time of payment. Only after repeated requests did they send me vague paperwork, which I have now forwarded to the Nepal Dental Association, the Department of Commerce, Supplies & Consumer Protection, my embassy’s legal counsel, and the Tourism Board of Nepal for review. This is not just about money — it’s about trust, transparency, and honesty. A professional clinic should provide clear pricing, itemized invoices, and proper payment options. Instead, this experience left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. Dental care is about health and safety, and patients deserve to know they are in trustworthy hands. Bad Experience at This Dental Clinic I had a very disappointing experience at this dental clinic in Nepal. The service was not professional at all, and the prices were completely exaggerated. They initially told me one amount, but in the end, they charged almost two times more than what was estimated. On top of that, they added charges for things I didn’t even know about. Before the treatment, I asked if I could pay by card, and they said yes. But at the end, not only was the price much higher, they also refused to accept card payment and insisted on other ways of paying. I finally paid, but they didn’t even give me a receipt. During the procedure, which was for treating some cavities, the dentist had to make several corrections, and the communication was terrible. If I told them to correct a tooth on the upper jaw, they would work on the lower one instead. It felt like they didn’t really understand what I was saying, and ended up doing the opposite of what I asked. Both my husband and I had discomfort afterward, and overall, we were very unhappy with the service, the treatment, and the way they handled the payment.
